Winning dad
Winning Dad is the story of a young man who tricks his homophobic father into a camping trip with his secret boyfriend. I wrote it during three years in the Merchant Marine aboard the USNS Gilliland. In 2013 myself and a small team raised $30,000 on Kickstarter to fund the film. It had its first theater screening for a private audience in Paris through the Champs-Élysées Film Festival US in Progress program a block away from the Arc de Triumph. The film travelled to twelve film festivals, screening for audiences in Montreal, Mumbai, Cologne, Florence, and others, and is now available for online viewing.
